Enrolment Application

Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions your family will make. At Georges River Grammar, we endeavour to make the enrolment process a seamless transition for you and your children. Our main admission intake is for students entering Kindergarten and Year 7. The School also accepts applications throughout the year for other year levels, with prospective students placed on a wait list if there are no vacancies at the time.

Enrolment Process

1. Before applying for enrolment, parent/carer(s) should read:

The GRG Prospectus
Current fees schedule
Enrolment Policy

3. Enrolment applications for Kindergarten and Year 7 are due by the end of March, the year prior to commencement.

4. Once applications close, the School will contact families to invite them to attend an interview in April/May.

5. After the completion of interviews, offers are sent to parents of students who have been accepted for enrolment. This usually happens in early June, the year prior to commencement.

6. If the application is for any other year level, other than Kindergarten or Year 7, an interview may be organised or the prospective student placed on a wait list. The School will be in contact to confirm the status of each application.

Current enrolment status

The School is currently at or near capacity in each year cohort. Applicants will be held on a wait list if there are no vacancies at the time. Applicants on the wait list will be contacted periodically to ascertain whether they wish to remain on the wait list. Families with more than one child on a wait list may not be offered enrolment for all children at the same time. Offers to applicants on the wait list will be based on the enrolment criteria above.
